So we have been sequestered for the weekend because our home health company doesn't have any IV pumps too send us home with. On the bright side, Lucas is out of isolation. A very rare occurrence when we are in the hospital.
Regarding the new anti fungal Lucas is on. His potassium levels dropped over night so they gave him supplements this morning. We had to fight to keep him on fluids in order to make sure his kidneys are getting flushed out regularly. As I have said before the biggest concern is kidney damage with this medicine. He seems to be tolerating it so far, but we are watching him closely.
